Granite Wellness Centers is a non-profit organization with a mission to:

“Promote wellness and quality of life, serving individuals, families, and communities in Northern California with services in Placer and Nevada Counties.”

With service centers in Auburn, Kings Beach, Lincoln and Roseville in Placer County, and Grass Valley, Nevada City, and Truckee in Nevada County, Granite Wellness Centers provide 87 beds of withdrawal management and residential treatment for men, women, and women with children; outpatient treatment for adults and adolescents, over 100 beds of transitional supportive housing, Medication-Assisted Treatment, and DUI services.

Granite Wellness Center is licensed by the DMV and State of California as a provider of Wet and Reckless, and 3, 6, 9, 12, and 18-month programs at 6 sites. The DUI programs are available in English and Spanish.

Granite Wellness embraced the CADTP MAT initiative to provide robust screening and case management to address Opioid Use Disorder and Poly-Substance Use disorder, providing referrals, and connecting DUI participants to internal MAT or outpatient programs. CADTP DUI coordinator Nate Rude says, “This was a great opportunity to establish systems and proactively connect people with other resources; we know that many of our participants experience polysubstance use, and may benefit from a higher level of care.”

As a spoke with DHCS Hub and Spoke initiative, Granite Wellness offers MAT services including group and individual counseling in Grass Valley, Auburn, and Lincoln. Counselors conduct a SUD assessment with participants and provide information regarding DUI Mat Services, Opioid Use Disorder, and Poly-Substance Use Disorder.

Due to COVID-19, Granite Wellness is delivering many services via telephone and telehealth. We are committed to maintaining a strong connection with our participants, providing access to appropriate services to promote their wellness and quality of life.
